I was bored with the conventional definition of fine art. I realized that my work isn’t just about following tradition—it’s about redefining it.
My medium is rhinestones. They are not just decorative; they are sculptural, textural, and transformative. Rhinestones symbolize illusion, perception, and the tension between artificiality and authenticity. They reflect light, creating shifting perspectives depending on where the viewer stands—mirroring how identity, memory, and self-image are constantly evolving..
My first body of work, “Mind, Body and Soul” carries a narrative, a structured composition, and a philosophical framework—elements that distinguish fine art from craft. Material does not define fine art. Artists have used gold leaf, glass beads, metal scraps, and even bottle caps in their work, and it’s still regarded as fine art. I am no different.
I am here to push the boundaries of what fine art can be.
